First Experiments with Photography
I recently was gifted a Nikon d40, a camera that I've been pining after for a while. I won't pretend to be a photographer, I won't pretend to know what I'm doing. I've been messing with the settings and attempting to find things to take pictures of. I've done some film stuff with my mom's old Minolta, but I'm working on finding the time to develop it (and learning how to develop film in general). Yup, I'm a total amateur at photography, I know it. I only learned what aperture and shutterspeed are today, in fact. But I've enjoyed it, and there's a few photographs in particular that I'm rather proud of, even if they pale in comparison to the work of more experienced artists. I did two portraits and a still life, and I'm going to upload them in just a minute. And then... I'll probably work on calculus. Integrals, fun stuff!
